Since 1954, he's been here selling shrimp and hosting everyone from celebrities and politicians to good friends and neighbors. Mabel Miller: Noted local environmental educator Mabel Miller has lived in Miami-Dade County for nearly 60 years. She helped form the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center and has worked there for more than 20 years. She is an active proponent of education efforts and environmental conservation.
