Saturday, April 19 -- 8:30am-1:30pm Village Goes Green Initiative electronics recycling drive. Islanders are encouraged to participate in the first Village-sponsored electronics recycling drive along West Enid Drive. The drive is open to residents of single family homes, condos and apartments as well as local businesses. Some of the items accepted for recycling include computers and parts, televisions, media players, phones, and mercury bearing products such as lamps and batteries. The Key Biscayne Yacht Club's Summer Camp includes sailing, swimming, golfing and marine science exploration. The children have a choice of two activities per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The sailing classes are divided by age and experience ranging from beginner to racing. Sailors will have the oportunity to learn a new sport as well as explore Biscayne Bay. The golf portion will be handled by Crandon Park Golf Course staff and is also divided by ability. Our newest program, Marine Science will have the kids kayaking out to the mangrove, sandbar and other fun locations to collect specimins and ad them to our saltwater tanks back at the yacht club.
