Please join us in welcoming our new Editor of the Key Commerce e-newsletter and Communications Coordinator, Irene "Tishi" Morales. Irene is a true key rat who was born and raised and continues to live on the Key. She will graduate from Florida International University this spring with a degree in Communications/Advertising and a concentration in Humanities.
One of her favorite places on the Key is the Donut Gallery because: "I've been going there since I was little, and even if I go away for a while, whenever I come back it's like I never left. Just like family they know what I like: cheeseburger, fries and a coke, with the season salt! Even if it's at 10 in the morning...and I think, 'next time, I'll get the pancakes...' but I never do..."
You probably know Irene's very cool mom, Irene de Cardenas, the only computer teacher at the Key Biscayne Community School who's lived on the Key since she was five-years-old and knows how to make some killer black beans. Irene looks forward to meeting and helping the Chamber Members so feel free to drop her a line.

You can now go online and enter two (2) emergency contacts on your Florida Drivers License (electronically) which can only be retrieved by a police officer. This came about as a result of one woman's teenage daughter being in a car accident and taking over 5 hours to locate the mother to inform her. This way, the police can run the drivers license and have the emergency info ASAP! https://www6. hsmv.state. fl.us/dlcheck/ findcustomer |
